Pinitol and Cairo-Inositol
Pinitol and Cairo-Inositol
Pinitol and Cairo-Inositol extracted from carob bean are materials supported by many evidences.
They show improvement of insulin resistance and produce antioxidant effects, liver protection with glutathione production in the body. Also they show anti-inflammatory effects in combination with glucosamine, and fatigue recovery in combination with creatine.
In addition, one of the causes of PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) is considered to be glucose metabolism disorder. PCOS develops when the concentration of insulin in the body rises, leading to overproduction of androgen and the luteinizing hormone becomes high.
In the research results shown below, it is thought that the control of blood sugar level and the suppression of male hormones in the ovaries by pinitol or chiro-inositol increases the sensitivity to insulin. The long-term effect of pinitol on glucose metabolism of type II

Manufacturing method
- CaroPinitol: The sugar solution extracted from the pods of carob bean is crystallized after chromatographic separation.
- Chiro-Inositol: Pinitol extracted from carob bean pods is demethylated, and it is crystallized after chromatographic separation.
